WASHINGTON – The U.S. Department of Labor announced today its Veterans’ Employment and Training Service has signed a memorandum of understanding with seven new partners for the agency’s Employment Navigator and Partnership Pilot. With these additions, a total of 47 partners now support the initiative.
ENPP provides career assistance to transitioning service members and their spouses at select military installations worldwide. The program expands on classroom instruction offered the agency’s Transition Assistance Program, by providing one-on-one support through Employment Navigators. Employment Navigators help connect service members with partners to ensure service members and their spouses get the support needed as they transition out of the service and after separation.
The newest partners are Blue Star Families/Blue Star Careers in Encinitas, Google in Mountain View and Purepost Inc. in San Francisco, California; the National Institute of Innovation and Technology in Hanover, Maryland; Cyber Up in St. Louis, Missouri; Empower Employ Consulting LLC in Watertown, New York; and Orion Talent in Cary, North Carolina.
ENPP partners offer digital matching of skills and experiences, workforce training, employment mentorship, access to hiring events, networking with organizations committed to employing veterans, apprenticeship opportunities, employment referrals and placement, and other wrap-around services and resources.
The department’s Veterans Employment and Training Service welcomes organizations seeking to help transitioning service members and their spouses in finding meaningful employment to partner with the agency.
