Free webinar on protecting workers from electrical hazards. The intended audience is construction workers, with an emphasis on those that install and use electricity.

Background:

As part of an ongoing effort to address the Focus Four construction hazards – electrocution, falls, caught-in and struck-by – the webinar will increase awareness of the electrical hazards present on various construction job sites and provide solutions to address them.

Two experienced electrical contractors will discuss workplace safety risks faced by their employees and how they keep their workers safe. Related research and evidence-based solutions for addressing safety hazards will be provided by a Center to Protect Worker’s Rights representative. A question and answer session will follow the presentations. Participants are encouraged to submit questions in advance during registration.
